2 Easy Drinks For Hosting This Holiday (With An Easy Festive Garnish)

Garnishes make for the tastiest of drinks, or maybe drinks call for the prettiest of garnishes? Either way, I know you’ll want to add these to your Holiday Festivities because they are not just beautiful, they’re delicious too.

Welcome the Festive Fun with the two Merry Drinks : Tart Maple Bourbon and Sparkling Cranberry Fizz! Whether you choose to make these as Cocktails or Mocktails I’ve included all of the ingredients below as well as how to make the most festive garnishings.

Tart Maple Bourbon

1 Lemon Juiced mixed with an Equal amount of Pure Maple Syrup

Bourbon or make it a Mocktail and use Sparkling Mandarin Water

To Garnish :

Rosemary Sprigs

Dried Orange Slices

Sparkling Cranberry Fizz

1-2 Tablespoons Cranberry Juice Cocktail

6 ounces Champagne or make it a Mocktail and use sparkling mandarin water!

To Garnish

Candied Cranberries (see instructions below)

Small Dried Orange Slices

How To Make Candied Cranberries :

what you need:

  • Simple Syrup (1 cup water + 1 cup granulated sugar simmered till clear and then allowed to cool)

  • 1 bag fresh cranberries

  • 1 cup ish of granulated sugar
    - mesh strainer + an extra container to pour into
    - cooling wrack set over a baking sheet
    - if you don’t have a mesh cooling wrack you can dry them straight on a baking sheet, just make sure to use a clean dry baking sheet for each step


    Instructions!
    • coat cranberries in simple syrup
    • let coated cranberries dry for an hour
    • coat sticky coated cranberries with granulated sugar
    • let dry for another hour
    • store in mason jars in the fridge, they’ll last for up to a week or until the sugar gets a bit weepy
