White and Gold Intimate Garden Wedding
There is a beautiful elegance in creating an intimate Garden Wedding. From the green backdrop, to the open air string lights, natural whites and golds found in the garden landscape and most of all the time and space to truly enjoy each guest. Here are all of the details on how we created this White and Gold Wedding in our backyard orchard garden.
The light colored cedar farm tables were the perfect backdrop for the elegant white and gold decor. We intentionally draped the cream linen table runner to be light and airy just like the orchard. The mixed brass candlesticks and cream taper candles added another layer to the decor. Every candle holder that does not have a natural drip plate was placed on platters not just to help them stand out, but also because even the best dripless candles will make the most beautiful waxy mess when lit outside.
For the table arrangements we created layers of eucalyptus greenery for the white dahlias, cream spray roses, pale pink blossoms, lisianthus and gooseneck loosestrife to stand out. We wanted the table arrangements to flow down the table just as the table runner does, so the greenery vines in and out as the flowers run down the table.
To continue the simple elegance, each place setting was dotted with a touch of eucalyptus and a cream linen napkin to match the table runner. Hand scripted place cards and mixed amber goblets completed the table decor.
From the intimate ceremony under the apple and cherry trees, the reception dinner served family style and then toasts and dessert shared, this wedding was all things gorgeous celebration even amidst a few drizzly rain drops and an intimate guest list.
