  • about compost : how we start our own compost, the system we use to keep it healthy and active, what to add to compost, plus how to use the compost in your garden beds

  • how to prepare your garden bed : even if you’re starting with a patch of weeds or grass there are some simple ways to get it ready now! Kelly will show you how we keep our beds weed free and low maintenance, and what to do now to have the bed ready for planting.

  • seedling planting + direct sowing : you’ll learn how to transfer seedlings into the garden as well as how to directly sow seeds.

  • how to plant dahlias : Kelly will take you with her as we plant our own dahlia cutting garden, showing you how to plant your dahlia tubers, how to stake them, set up a drip system, fertilize and get them ready for a full season of blooming!
