Fall in the Orchard : Apple Crisp Hands On Cooking Class
September 22
10 am & 6pm
at Ciderpress Lane
That crisp feel of Fall is just around the corner and the apple trees are ready for it. We’re just beginning to harvest bucket fulls of fresh apples and want to share our favorite Apple Crisp recipe with you!
In this hands on cooking class you’ll learn our tricks to making the crisp tart and yet so decadent, how to prep it ahead of time to make for easy hosting, plus you’ll get to create your own to bring home and bake whenever you’re ready.
Each guest will receive their own Red La Tauci ceramic pie dish to make their apple crisp in. We’re thrilled to be able to give each of our guests a piece of red bakeware to bring home to continue making your own Red Tin Treats!
We’ll begin the workshop sampling the apple crisp we’ll be making, along with our favorite Thumb Print Scones. Then we’ll dive in to the fun. Kelly will talk you thru the entire process from the best thickness of apples for crisp, to all of the ingredients for the crumble topping. Then you’ll get your hands busy making your own.
We cannot wait to welcome you into the orchard and our kitchen as we bake and welcome Fall together!
