The Perfect No Sew Fabric Napkin
I like to keep things simple, so this no sew fabric napkin was perfect for creating a fun Thanksgiving table on a budget!
Here's what you need:
1 yard of Linen fabric (1 yard creates 8 napkins) Click here to watch Kelly show you which fabric we love to use. We've found the most beautiful real linen fabric from a little shop called Helen Round, click here to peruse their full selection. We LOVE the Mustard, Raspberry Red and Duck Egg colors. Plus they have really gorgeous Striped Linen Bread Bags, we love using them when we're baking sourdough loaves!
Scissors
Twine or Ribbon if you’d like to bundle them for the table

Lay your your of fabric out long ways and cut into 18 inch strips. You just need to make one small cut and then rip the fabric. I promise it will rip in a straight line. This technic works best with real linen!
Then Continue this process until you have cut the entire yard in 18 inch wide strips
Now take each 18 inch strip and cut and rip at 13 inch intervals. Your finished napkin will be 18 x 13.
The first washing will cause the most amount of loose threads to come off. Trim them and then fold for the table
each consecutive wash you’ll notice less and less threads coming off.
Click here for the all natural cleaner we use for our spot spray. Type in Basic H to the search bar - we use 1 Tablespoon in a 16 oz bottle!
I’ve had the best luck getting Linen at Joann’s Fabric. It’s soft and easy to work with. The darker colors last longer simply because they do not stain as easily. But we use ours for several years before we have to replace them!
