Brunch really is the best of meals because it means you have a slow morning and a day that’s wide open to simply enjoy being together. Better yet is when you can get your brunch menu prepped the day before to make it even easier to host and enjoy. Here’s a full menu of items that can be easily prepped or, better yet, ask your guests to bring one of them! Let’s dig in to the best brunch menu!

Juice Bar - Go wild and branch out from Orange Juice! Trader Joes carries some delicious options - peach, mango, fresh squeezed tangerine! And if you so please, add in a few bottles of champagne for the adults.

Brunch Menu

Yogurt Parfaits - These are SUPER easy to prep and then assemble the day of! They look pretty in mason jars or small water cups, or better yet - go hit up your local thrift shop and find a collection of mismatched jars for your buffet!

Puff Pastry Brunch Cups - This is next level from quiche and so easy to fill a brunch buffett with since they’re all individual servings! PLUS they cook much faster than quiche and require zero pie crust making. ;)

Fresh Squeezed Lemon Scones - Make these ahead of time either jumbo size or mini and you could even have a jar of jam or fresh cream for your guests to top them with!

Fresh Fruit - Fresh berries and mandarin oranges make for the best garnishes, no need to pile them all in 1 bowl, sprinkle them around the buffet adding color to every plater and dish.

Roasted Golden Potatoes with Cheese and Bacon : All of the sweet and decadent needs a bit of savory. Here’s how to make these delicious, roasted potatoes:

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound bacon

  • 6-8 yukon gold potatoes 1/2"-3/4" pieces, about 6 cups worth (golden potatoes have a much richer/sweeter taste - PLUS their skin is softer and makes for a nicer roasted unpeeled potato)

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar

  • Chives for garnishing

To Make

Brunch Menu
  • Start by cooking the bacon: Spread foil over a large baking sheet then lay the bacon strips out in a single layer. Roast at 400 for 15-18 minutes depending on how crunchy you like your bacon. Remove from the pan and allow to cool on a plate lined with paper towels. Working over a trash can, remove the foil and excess bacon grease from the baking sheet. No need to completely clean the pan, you’ll be using it to roast the potatoes!

  • While the bacon is cooking, chop the potatoes. Once the bacon is done mix the potatoes and the salt and pepper around on the sheet pan to coat the potatoes in the bacon grease. Spread the potatoes out in a single layer and bake at 400 for 20 minutes. Take them out of the oven and stir. Then bake for another 15-20 minutes or until you can easily pierce them with a fork.

  • While the potatoes are cooking grate your cheese.

  • Once the bacon is cool to the touch coarsely chop, then set aside.

  • Once you remove the potatoes from the oven toss them with the chopped bacon and cheese. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chives. The eaiset way to cut the chives is with a pair of kitchen sheers so you can snip them directly over the bowl you’re serving in.

Now refill those coffee mugs and goblets, fill your plates with goodness and have the best time brunching!
